SFV’s Hookah Ad Sparks Debate

SmokeFree Vegas and the Southern Nevada Health District?s recent television commercial on the dangers of smoking hookah is sparking a debate so lively that a Las Vegas news channel is covering the dialogue.

In a Channel 8 News segment, a local hookah bar operator contests the claims made by the SmokeFree Vegas ad as being unrealistic and unfounded, even though the statistics are all extracted and cited to credible, scientific sources. Interviews with SNHD educators are also included to defend the advertisement and address the hookah bar operator?s points of contention. Watch the news feature below.     I beleive your statement is incorrect since in truth Hookah tobacco carries no tar and almost no nicotine and can end up with your organization being sued for slander or liable….. Also stop lumping all types of smoking into one big lump because you are missleading the facts and that is just as bad as falsifying statements……
